The village of Spiss and the Alpenrose Apartments are located at 1,626 metres above sea level on the sunny slopes of the Samnaun Valley and is not only Austria's highest municipality, but also the smallest village in the Tyrolean Oberland with around 130 inhabitants.

With its central location, the small community is a wonderful choice for your holiday in the Tyrolean Oberland. It lies in the border triangle of Austria, Switzerland and Italy and is therefore the ideal starting point for many activities - whether in summer or winter. 

Spiss is still one of the few communities where everyone knows everyone else. Tyrolean cosiness, hospitality and warmth are simply part of normal life here. Guests who like it rustic and tranquil will always be happy to return to our village!
